What is white gold?
White gold is created in the same manner as a yellow gold ring. The difference between the two is the metal combination turned the ring white instead of yellow. There are numerous alloys used to turn the jewelry white. A white gold piece is coated in rhodium to give the metal a brighter finish.

The price of a ring comes from primarily from the karatage. Higher karats are more expensive due to the amount of gold in the ring.
